Kimberly Woods, affectionately known to many as KAZ, grew up in the captivating surroundings of Salt Lake City before immersing herself in the vibrant jazz scene of New York City. Her love for music was nurtured by her grandfather, Bill Woods, a talented saxophonist and clarinetist, and her mother, Brenda Woods, an accomplished singer. This rich musical heritage introduced her to the enchanting sounds of the Great American Songbook.

Deeply inspired by the standards, Kimberly fell in love with the timeless voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, and Peggy Lee. In 2015, she made the bold move to New York City, where she honed her craft under the guidance of jazz greats Marand also studied with Marilyn Maye, known for her captivating cabaret performances.

Kimberly found a home at the Swing 46 Jazz and Supper Club, where she showcased her talent with her quintet. Now back in Salt Lake City, she is thrilled to present the remarkable sounds of her band, Satin Swing! Tonight, she brings you a heartfelt collection that promises to uplift and inspire, leaving everyone with a smile.
